DANCERS, teachers and would-be dancers from across Hambleton are being asked to come together to toe-tap the day away.
The annual ‘day of dance’, organised by Hambleton District Council, is taking place next month to raise awareness of dance and highlight the classes available in the area.
Dancers of all ages and abilities have the chance to take part in different types of dance workshops from ballet, street, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre to African and hip-hop.
Sessions in creative story-telling and reggae are also new to the event this year.
‘Celebration of Dance’ takes place at the Forum in Northallerton on Sunday, June 11 from 9.45am to 3.30pm.
All-day tickets are £10 or £7.50 if bought in advance from 01609-776230.
