A BMW has been stolen in what police called a "two-in-one"burglary in Weardale.
The keys to the BMW 320d convertible were snatched from a home in the Thistlewood Lane area of Wolsingham before the vehicle was driven off.
Durham Police said the burglary happened sometime between 6.30pm on Tuesday and 9.30am on Wednesday.
The car, which is white with a solid white roof, has not yet been found.
Its registration number is YK58 LWF.
Anyone with information is asked to ring non-emergency 101 and ask for the investigating officer, Detective Constable Nichola Gaines, based in CID at Bishop Auckland.
