A GLOBAL craft supplies company is hosting a series of activities in honour of Mother’s Day.
Crafter’s Companion, based in Newton Aycliffe, is holding ‘make and take’ sessions for adults and children tomorrow from 9am to midday.
Attendees will be able to create a handmade Mother’s Day card and decorate a small plant pot with handmade flowers using flower stickers and pipe cleaners.
A competition is also running for children to come and collect a paper flower from the store, take it home to decorate and return it to the shop by Friday.
The winner will receive a £10 voucher.
And on Mother’s Day mothers and grandmothers are being treated to a free coffee and cupcake.
Amy Rodger, retail store manager said: “It doesn’t matter whether you’ve crafted before or not, our team will be on hand to provide instructions, ask questions and encourage customers in making a wonderful keepsake for their mums.”
‘Make and take’ sessions cost £2 per person.
