ANYONE still looking for a place in the Great North Run are in with a chance of securing a place on the starting line thanks to a charity.
Teesside Hospice is offering places to runners who are up for raising vital funds for the charity.
Leanne Irvine, the hospice’s community fundraiser, said “If you are a seasoned runner or hoping to do your first Great North Run, we would love to have you on our team and support you along the way.
“We offer all our runners a fantastic support package and will do all that we can to ensure that your Great North Run experience is one you will never forget.”
To run for Teesside Hospice, the registration fee is £54 and the minimum sponsorship is £300. Once registered you will receive a training top, a fundraising pack, sponsor forms and a personalised fundraising page.
Even if you have successfully secured a place in the general ballot, you can still run for the charity.
