A TOWN cricket team had double cause for celebration when it landed league and cup titles at the weekend.
The Specsavers Indoor Cricket League, based at Wolsingham Sports Hall, in County Durham, was won by Willington A.

Eight teams from across south Durham take part in the league, which runs during the winter months to help players maintain fitness and keep their eye in for the outdoor game.
League chairman and secretary Kevin Armstrong said: “It is a good friendly league with about 90 members, the youngest is 13 the oldest in their 60s.
“We appreciate the support we get.”
The league is sponsored by Specsavers Bishop Auckland, Weardale Area Partnership helps fund hall hire, balls and stumps were provided by Dale and Valley Homes’ Better Homes, Better Lives Fund and Durham County Councillor for Weardale Anita Savory provided trophies.
