EARLY birds can catch a discount for the return of Muddy Mayhem if they book by the end of the month.
The obstacle course will return on Sunday, October 1, with a host of challenges awaiting runners in the surroundings of the Hardwick Park, near Sedgefield.
Anyone who signs up before midnight on Tuesday, January 31, can book a 5K place for £35 or £40 for the 10K.
Teams of 10 or more will receive an extra 10 per cent discount, making it £31.50 per person before the end of January.
Once the early bird offer has finished the individual price will increase to £42 for 5K and £48 for 10K.
Runners must be aged 16 and over to enter, and have a reasonable level of fitness.
