RESIDENTS and visitors are being encouraged to take and share photos of Sedgefield in a new competition.
Mayor of Sedgefield Cllr Chris Lines has launched Sedgefield Selfies which challenges the public to capture images of themselves alongside their favourite places in the town in aid of his chosen charities.
The best photos will be showcased on Sedgefield Town Council’s website and the winner will receive a voucher for the Dun Cow Inn.
There is no set fee for entering the contest but the suggested donation is £1, which can be made at the council offices or online at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/MayorofSedgefield2016-17

The overall winner will be announced during the Mayor’s Ball on Friday, March 3, 2017.
