HUNDREDS of people, young and old, are expected at the oldest show in the country this weekend.
The 237th Wolsingham Show, in Weardale, will take place on Saturday, September 3, from 9am to 6pm, and Sunday, September 4, between 9am and 5pm.
Attractions will include a parade of champions, sulky racing, feather and fur exhibits, falconry displays and a brass band.
In addition, there will also be the Jamie Squibb stunt team, elite strongman, Alpaca clipping demonstrations, a zip wire, donkey rides and harness racing.
Tickets per day cost £10 for an adult and £4 for children and £6 for senior citizens. A family ticket, two adults and two children, costs £25.
