POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a suspected assault behind a city centre bus station left one man with facial injuries.
A 31-year-old Durham man is reported to have been attacked outside Durham bus station, North Road, on Tuesday morning (June 28).
The extent of the man’s injuries are not known.
Durham Police have released a witness appeal in a bid to trace another man in relation to the incident who is described as being a white male, aged between 45 and 50 years old.
He is also believed to be of stocky build and wearing dark clothes and glasses at the time of the suspected assault.
