PREPARATIONS are underway for a family friendly community celebration, which will include a variety events.
Sedgefield Day will take place on Saturday, June 11 on the village green, in St Edmund’s Church, the parish hall and in and around Ceddesfeld Hall.
As part of its festival, Sedgefield Village Games will host a schedule of displays and have a go sessions on the village green and surrounding area, featuring sport, a mobile climbing wall and the Jungle Obstacle Run.
St Edmund’s Church will serve morning refreshments and the green will also be home to various craft stalls and gazebos, with displays by local organisations.
Other activities will include toddlers from Wigglets and pupils from the two primary schools entertaining the crowds with displays.
Admission is free.
