A MAN in his 30's was airlifted to hospital after falling from a motocross bike in the Crook area shortly after noon today (Monday, May 30).
He suffered serious injuries to his leg and pelvis.
The man, who is from Redcar, was treated at a motocross track near the village of Stanley Crook before being flown in ten minutes to a speciality treatment unit at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.
His injuries are not life-threatening and he is described as being in a stable condition.
