IT was a case of dank holiday Monday for many as rain and strong winds swept through the region this morning (Monday, May 2).
As the day progressed bright sunshine did emerge, with people making their way to the region’s many honeyspots.
After several days of wintry weather, the band of rain will sweep south-eastwards across the UK
And temperatures will be above normal for this time of year by the end of the week, as drier, brighter weather warms up the country.
