TEESSIDE band The White Negroes have been announced as an act on the bill of County Durham festival Down to the Woods, at Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield.
They will join the likes of Primal Scream, Echo & the Bunnymen and Chase & Status at the prestigious showcase, formerly known as Hardwick Live.
Music fans got the chance to see them for free on Sunday (May 1) when they kicked off Into Teesside, the Mayday all-day festival at TSOne in Middlesbrough.
The group were on stage to launch the event which features the likes of the Purnells, Be Quiet, Shout Loud! and Charlie Thomas.
