A CALL has gone out for more donations of furniture and white goods for a Newton Aycliffe-based social enterprise.
Volunteers at More Time, which provides second-hand furniture to local people at reasonable prices, are appealing for donations to meet the high demand.
"We’re always looking for more household goods and we have the skills within the team here at More Time to refurbish old furniture and white goods to bring them back to standard," said volunteer Gavin Bestford.
All the money raised from the sale of the goods goes back into the More Time service which also helps people in the area develop new skills in retail, sales, catering and cleaning with the aim of them securing employment in the future.
Anyone who would like to donate household goods are asked to call 01325 731294.
More Time is based at The IES Centre, Horndale Avenue, on Aycliffe Business Park.
