A PENSIONER has been left badly shaken after a would-be robber threatened him with an imitation handgun.
The 77-year-old was walking along Durham Street in Stockton between 10pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday (February 3) when he was approached by a young man dressed in black.
The man threatened the victim with an imitation firearm and demanded money. The pensioner refused and the man fled in the direction of Corporation Street empty handed.
The suspect is described as 5ft 6ins tall, slim build, wearing all black with his hood up and face covered by a scarf.
