THE Environment Agency has issued flood warnings for several rivers in the region after heavy rain saw water levels rise overnight.
Warnings have been issued for the River Swale at Kirby Wiske and at Brompton-on-Swale Caravan Park and Brompton Lakes, as well as the Ure at Roecliffe Caravan Park.
Lesser flood alerts have been issued for long stretches of the upper and lwoer Swale and Ure, as well as the lower Tees and its tributaries.

Flood water has already caused problems for some motorists with firefighters having to remove one vehicle stuck in flooding on the A684 near Aysgarth in Wensleydale yeserday afternoon.
A second motorist got stuck at nearby Carperby which the fire crew came across on their way back to the station after dealing with the first incident.
Nationally, forecasters have warned the possibility of torrential rain on already saturated ground - after what was the wettest December on record - means more flooding.
