A SUPERMAKET chain is offering sponsorship to business students at Durham University.
The best performing first-year student reading business, business finance or accounting and finance will get £500 to spend on course books or anything else to help their studies.
Professor Tony Antoniou, Dean of Durham Business School, said: "Durham University is very pleased to have the support of Aldi.
"Sponsorship is an excellent opportunity to drive and inspire students to succeed in a subject they enjoy, while it can feed enthusiasm for a promising career in that field."
Dan Ronald, Aldi regional managing director, said: "If it means helping further a student's academic potential, Aldi is more than happy to lend support to encourage the drive and ambition to succeed and meet goals."
