A DUTCH band that combines traditional music with jazz will perform in a Dales church as part of its first tour of the country.
Maalstroom will perform in St Andrew's Church, Grinton, in Swaledale, at 3pm on Sunday, May 20, during a tour of England.
Tickets are £7, and £5 for concessions, at the door or from Reeth Post Office, on 01748-884201.
Although some band members have played in the UK as individuals, it is the first visit by the whole band, which has released two CDs.
The five musicians play a mix of modern instrumental folk-jazz, influenced by Irish, Flemish and Dutch traditional music, with some traditional Irish songs.
Instruments include bass clarinet, clarinet, guitar, bouzouki, Flemish bagpipes, flute, whistle, fiddle, bodran and bones.
