MUSIC-LOVERS will be transported to the world of the movies at a concert in Ripon this month.
The St Cecilia Orchestra will perform movie music, from films such as James Bond, The Dam Busters, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Schindler's List and Dances With Wolves.
The concert will be presented by BBC Look North's Harry Gration. Conductor Xen Kelsey said: "This is going to be a wonderful evening's entertainment, a not-to-be-missed concert. This genre is not often heard, and we hope it draws all age groups into Ripon Cathedral."
The concert will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday, May 12.
Tickets are £5 to £13, available at the door.
