AN archery club is targeting people who want to try the sport with a free open day.
Thirsk Bowmen will hold the open day from 2pm on May 13.
The club is open to archers of all abilities and ages, and club members shoot in competitions.
People can also sign up for a £25 course in June or July. The club shoots at Baldersby Park, near Topcliffe. Call 01609-775686.
