WHATEVER your choice, something to read on the train is a must and for David Cameron today it was The Northern Echo.
During his tour of Hitachi's new Class 800 train at the launch of the company's brand new £82m factory in Newton Aycliffe, the Prime Minister flipped through the Echo's special souvenir edition, which marks the return of train building to the North-East, saying 'it looks fantastic'.
The eight-page pull-out declares that County Durham is 'open for business' as train building returns to the region 190 years after George Stephenson made the world's first passenger steam engine - Locomotion No 1.
