A MOTORCYCLIST was airlifted to hospital with serious arm and leg injuries following an accident on Birk Brow Road, near Guisborough, on Thursday night.
The three-vehicle crash happened opposite Birkbrown Showroom, Charltons, at about 6.10pm. Two motorbikes and a Honda Civic were involved.
A 50-year-old man riding a BMW motorbike was treated at the scene by the doctor/paramedic crew, before being flown to the major trauma centre at James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough.
He suffered a broken arm and a broken leg. His condition is described as stable.
The road was reopened at about 9pm.
