HIGH flying fundraisers are offering a thrilling ride as they launch their annual appeal.

Skydiving and race car rides are among a host of top prizes as local businesses support the MS Society Darlington and District Branch.

Tickets for the prize draw go on sale on Saturday (March 21) in the Dolphin Centre, Darlington, with the grand draw on April 9 at 7.30pm at the Carmelite Convent, in Nunnery Lane.

Up for grabs is a skydive with Skydive St George at Durham Tees Valley Airport, an Aston Martin/Lamborghini driving experience at Tockwith, near York, and a six month gym membership at the Dolphin Centre.

Also on offer are a golf day at Blackwell, £100 voucher from Aldi, a meal for four at Table Talk Indian Restaurant, Middleton St George, and a family fun day at Castle Bolton, Wensleydale.

Train fans will get the chance to win rides on the Wensleydale and North York Moors railways while Aardvark Computer Repairs have donated a service, Belles and Beaux Hair Salon in Bondgate a cut and blow dry and Adventure Point some play passes.

Vouchers have been donated by Truman Cleaners and Marks and Spencer.

Organiser Janet Tucker, of Hurworth, said: “We always get a great response from local businesses and their efforts are much appreciated.

“Fundraising is essential to pay for services that unfortunately can’t be provided by the NHS, such as physiotherapy and aromatherapy sessions.”

Multiple Sclerosis is the most common neurological disorder among young adults in the UK. Janet has lived with the condition for more than ten years.

Tickets are £1 each. For more information contact Janet on 01325-720456 or email janet@tucker19.plus.com
