GALA: The Tiger Lillies will perform at the Gala Theatre, Durham, on Sunday, March 22
AN ALTERNATIVE cabaret group will bring its UK tour to the North-East later this month (Sunday, March 22).
The Tiger Lillies are currently travelling the country under the title The Very Worst of the Tiger Lillies and will appear at the Gala Theatre, Durham, on Sunday, March 22.
The group is said to bring surprise, shock and entertainment, blending the macabre with punk.
They have won two Olivier Awards and received a Grammy nomination and count among their fans The Simpsons creator Matt Groening, Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos and 1980s pop icon Mark Almond.
