TELEVISION presenter Denise Robertson will reflect on 40 years as an agony aunt in a talk later this month.

The Sunderland-born broadcaster will give a talk titled ‘The Changing Face of Agony’ at the Murray Library lecture theatre, Sunderland, on Wednesday, March 18.

Doors open at 6pm. Entry is free and all are welcome.

Mrs Robertson has been the resident agony aunt on ITV’s This Morning since its launch in 1988 and previously worked in radio.

She has received around a quarter of a million letters asking for help.

Jonathan Ruffer, the man behind the £100m restoration of Auckland Castle, will talk about his vision for the historic venue on Wednesday, April 29, in the last in the current series.
