A WELSH man has tracked down his long-lost family to the Darlington area.
Following his father’s death, Spencer Lambert Jnr discovered he had family in the North-East.
He is now appealing for help in finding any relatives that may remain in the region.
His father, Spencer Lambert Snr, settled in Wales after leaving the North-East in the 1950s or 60s following a family dispute.
He was from Darlington and born to Charles Henry Lambert and Eloie May Lambert (nee Taylor) on January 24, 1938.
The family lived on Sheraton Street at the time of Mr Lambert’s birth and had other children.
Mr Lambert Jnr said: “My father never told us where he came from – he was a very stubborn and secretive man.
“I believe his brothers and sisters may have passed away but I’d like to see if there are any relatives still alive.”
