TWO people have been killed in a second hostage situation in Paris, after the hunt for the Charlie Hebdo gunmen developed into a siege.
Said and Cherif Kouachi are holed up in an industrial estate with a hostage in the town of Dammartin-en-Goele, about 25 miles from Paris, following a car chase during which heavy gunfire was reported.
Meanwhile, multiple reports have emerged of a shoot-out in Porte de Vincennes in eastern Paris.
Police have released a mugshot of Amedy Coulibaly, the suspect in the killing of a policewoman in Paris on Thursday.
Officers believe Coulibaly is also responsible for the attack at the kosher supermarket.
French president, Francois Hollande, ordered the country's top security official to the scene, an official in the presidency told the Associated Press news agency.
The events near Paris's Porte de Vincennes took place as two suspects in France's deadliest terror attack in decades were cornered near Charles de Gaulle airport.
French media said the attacker of the kosher shop in Paris was seen carrying two machine guns.
The man, believed to be Coulibaly, opened fire in the supermarket today and declared: "You know who I am", a police source said.
SUSPECT: Amedy Coulibaly
As well as the two fatalities, police sources say some hostages have been gravely wounded.
A second suspect, a woman named Hayet Boumeddiene, is thought to be the gunman's accomplice.
