Man dies after bridge fall
A MAN has died tonight after falling from the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle. Police were called at around 7.50pm and a section of the road on Akenside Hill was closed while emergency services responded.
The man was taken to the Royal Victoria infirmary where he later died. Police enquiries are ongoing.
