A FATHER and son have appeared at court charged with kidnap and making threats to kill.
Graham Holmes, 51, of Etherley Grange, Bishop Auckland, and Thomas Holmes, 21, of Etherley Moor, Bishop Auckland, are alleged to have committed the offences in Shildon, County Durham, on Tuesday, October 21.
Both men indicated a not guilty plea when they appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court today (Wednesday, November 26).
Magistrates committed the case to Durham Crown Court on Wednesday, December 10.
Father and son received conditional bail.
