UNIVERSITY CHALLENGE: Host Jeremy Paxman with the Durham University team
NORTH-East students will appear on University Challenge next week (Monday, November 17).
Following a comprehensive 250-35 win over Brasenose College, Oxford in the first round, the Durham University team’s second round match will be screened on BBC Two on Monday, November 17, at 8pm.
The students are picked at contests each autumn, with each college common room entering a team for preliminary matches.
Victory would secure Durham a place in the quarter-finals.
