A WOMAN is trying to trace a distant relative who may live in Darlington so she can give him a WWI heirloom.
Maria Perera, of Angus, Scotland, is trying to trace her father’s cousin’s family. She knows that the cousin, Margaret Josephine Reilly (nee Gilmour, from Glasgow), died living at 81 Gilling Crescent, Darlington. Margaret’s son, Robert Reilly, was living at 5 Fenby Avenue in Darlington when he registered her death in August 1994. Ms Perera would love to get in touch with Robert and pass on to him his grandfather’s WWI army record.
