FIRE crews dealt with a blaze at an industrial unit in Middlesbrough yesterday.
The fire broke out next to K E Motors on Snowdon Road, on the Riverside Park Industrial Estate, near the River Tees.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Fire and Rescue said that five appliances attended the scene, plus the hydraulic platform and a command unit.
She said it was believed it involved a car inside an industrial unit.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police added: "A number of fire appliances and police officers are at the scene – along with colleagues from the ambulance service although there are not currently believed to be any casualties.
"A small number of roads in the immediate area have been closed off to protect the public and to allow emergency services to continue their work."
