PEOPLE young and old can explore a special Amazon adventure in a North-East forest next month.
Sky Rainforest Rescue, which is a partnership between Sky and WWF, has joined forces with the Forestry Commission to host a series of trails to encourage families to get out and about to explore woodland areas.
There will be a chance to wander through Hamsterley Forest, near Bishop Auckland, on Sunday, September 7, and discover more about the Amazon along the way.
Children will receive a free explorer’s pack with activities to keep them entertained and they will also be able to go home with their faces painted as their favourite Amazonian animal.
