Just to update everyone. Thankfully no one was hurt apart from the mans ego when he escaped from his burning flat due to accidental chip pan fire.
He jumped from his first floor flat onto his neighbours porch roof only to get told by his unconcerned, lack of empathy neighbour to get off her boyfriends porch roof in case in falls down??
Don't worry only minor injuries occurred a sprained ankle from having to jump, But most of all his loss in human mankind and friendly community neighbourly spirit will be lost in Darlington for a very long time.
