A DRIVER who was involved in a car crash on Friday, June 13 died over the weekend.
The 36-year-old woman, from Edinburgh, was driving a Renault Clio when the collision happened on the A19 northbound, near the Dalton Piercy Junction, close to Hartlepool at 4.30pm.
She was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough but died on Saturday.
A 45-year-old man driving a black BMW ME5 sustained internal injuries and an injury to his ankle and was treated at the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton.
Police are appealing for witnesses who should contact PC Mark Pearson on the non-emergency 101 number.
