GHOST hunters will descend on Darlington this week for a scarily good charity fundraising evening.

The event, hosted by North-East ghost hunter, Dean Maynard, will be held on Friday (May 9) at Darlington Civic Theatre to raise funds for St Teresa’s Hospice.

Mr Maynard said: "It is a ghost hunt with a twist, as Tim Wagstaff from ghostface.co.uk will be hiding in the theatre in his Scream costume, ready to jump out on unsuspecting souls."

Stacey McClean, of S Club Juniors, and Kiki DeVille, from this year’s The Voice, will also be taking part in the event, inspired by the horror film Scream.

Although the event is sold out, people can still donate to St Teresa’s Hospice at darlingtonhospice.org.uk
