A TEENAGE cancer survivor will speak about his experiences at a conference next month.
Kieran Maxwell, from Heighington, near Darlington, was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer in 2010 and had his left leg amputated at the knee.
The 15-year-old will talk about his diagnosis and life after amputation at the Bone Cancer Research Trust conference, in Warwickshire, on June 28.
Kieran is also gearing up to take part in the Children’s Cancer Run, in Newcastle, on May 11.
