COMMUNITY groups wanting to find investment and support to save their local heritage are invited to a workshop.
The Prince’s Regeneration Trust will be holding a day-long event in Malton for groups from the region trying to fund regeneration projects.
The trust has launched a new programme, Building Resources, Investment and Community Knowledge (BRICK), designed to help groups.
The event will take place in the Milton Rooms in Malton on Thursday, May 8.
The event will look at how community groups can overcome financial challenges, such as securing funding for initial work such as legal advice.
It will also cover advice such as such as working in partnership with the private sector, accessing relevant expertise and promoting projects.
The event will be chaired by Ros Kerslake, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust’s chief executive.

To attend, there is a registration fee of just under £20 per person, including lunch and refreshments.
