Steam gala to attract visitors to Shildon rail museum
STEAM GALA: The Great Northern Railway is to be celebrated at Locomotion: The National Railway Museum at Shildon’s Spring Steam Gala. The event will see a Stirling single locomotive reunited with its original tender following a two year restoration project. The gala is on Sunday, May 4, and Monday, May 5, between 10am and 5pm with free entry.
