A FORMER Granada TV technician whose art work has been on display round the world is to hold an exhibition in Spennymoor.
Bill Harris, of Peterlee, spent 30-years as an electronics technician with Granada before he retrained as an artist in the late 1990s.
The main inspiration for his work comes from the County Durham landscape in which he lives.
He is to display his work in the Jazz and Bezzaz exhibition at The Bob Abley Gallery, in Spennymoor Town Hall, where his works will be on sale with prices starting at £200.
Mr Harris has exhibited throughout the region and also in Hungary and South Korea amongst other countries.
Private collectors in the UK, Australia, USA, Italy, France, Germany and Hungary have his work too.
The exhibition runs from Saturday, April 19, until Saturday, May 24, with free entry. Doors are open between noon and 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on Saturday.
