BARE BONES: An unusual exhibition showing the skeletons of an osprey in mid-flight and skeletal frogs leaping is being shown at the Dorman Museum in Middlesbrough.
The temporary display in the H2O gallery is being loaned by North-East touring exhibition company Blue Tokay, from its Bare Bones exhibition which looks at animal anatomy in a different way.
Unlike many other natural history displays Bare Bones shows specimens in skeletal form in life-like poses.
To complement the display the museum is showing some of its own animal skeleton collection, some of which have not been seen for many decades.
