A MAN who had his penis chopped off has been released from hospital, it was reported yesterday.
Police are still investigating the attack on the 40-year-old father and construction worker.
The man was found covered in blood at the side of the A66 near South Bank in Middlesbrough at 4.50am on March 12.
He has been in James Cook University Hospital but still faces months of plastic surgery.
The father-of-seven posted a picture of a breakfast meal on his Facebook page and told a well-wisher he was “getting there".
