The Breathe Easy group will hear about the African adventures of a civil engineer at their next meeting.
The group, for people affected by lung conditions, will hear from former Northumbrian Water engineer Paul Turner who has managed projects in 13 African countries over the last decade.
His presentation, Watery Tales from Africa, is a light hearted look at the challenges of bringing clean water and sanitation to developing countries of the continent.
The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at the Friends Meeting House, 6 Skinnergate from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
OPEN MORNING: Darlington CAB is holding an open morning on April 4 from 10am to noon.
The organisation, based on Horsemarket, is looking to recruit volunteers to fill roles including as assessors and advisors.
