PACT MEETINGS PACT (Police and Community Together) meetings will take place throughout Darlington on Thursday January 9. Meetings will be held at the Vancouver Street Methodist Church in Pierremont and at the Skerne Park Community Centre from 6pm and at the Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College from 7pm.
POLICE VISITS Police officers will carry out a series of door knocks at properties across Darlington in the coming months. The officers will offer advice on crime prevention, promote the Neighbourhood Watch scheme and encourage residents to attend their local PACT meetings.
QUAKERHOUSE GIGS Upcoming live music sessions at The Quakerhouse real ale and rock bar in Darlington will see performances from Tom Jackson on Sunday January 12, Howling Matt on Monday January 13 and Nee Botha on Wednesday January 15.
NATURALISTS’ TALK A talk on Wildlife in Namibia will be presented by Keith Gunning at a meeting of the Naturalists’ Field Club in Darlington. The talk will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College on Monday January 13 from 7.30pm.
