A CHARITY is appealing to animal lovers to volunteer at a shop that raises funds for sick and injured pets.

Vet charity, the PDSA, needs help to run its store on Festival Walk, Spennymoor. Manager, Pauline Warke, said: “A volunteer in our store will get to meet new people and add some valuable skills and experience to their CV.

“We are looking for people who are passionate about pets and can lend a hand, even if it’s a few hours a week.”
