TOWN centre CCTV cameras caught out three men suspected of stealing from a charity.
The trio was arrested in Darlington after CCTV camera operators alerted police to the fact they were carrying bicycles and bike parts through the town centre.
It was later found that the men had stolen the bikes from the Bike Stop shop – a charity initiative that helps disadvantaged people gain skills by fixing donated bicycles to sell on.
The men, all from the Darlington area and aged between 27 and 45-years-old, have been remanded to appear before magistrates.
All the stolen items were recovered.
