A TOURIST attraction has announced plans to open during the week in the run-up to Christmas.
Crook Hall, the Medieval manor house in Durham City, is to open on Mondays and Tuesdays in the first three weeks of December.
The house has been decorated with holly, ivy and fairy lights throughout, along with a 20ft Christmas tree.
Manager Nicola Sutclffe said: "I am so excited that more people will get to see the Hall decorated for Christmas - it looks stunning."
Crook Hall and Gardens will be open from 11am to 3pm on December 2-3, 9-10 and 16-17. Admission is £4.50 for adults, £4 for concessions and £3 for children.
