OVERNIGHT joint leader Graeme Storm has slipped off the pace at the Portugal Masters.
The Hartlepool golfer followed up Thursday's six-under 65 with a one over 72 in Vilamoura to leave himself seven shots short of a three-way battle at the top of the leaderboard.
Englishmen Paul Waring and David Lynn along with South African Hennie Otto lead the way going in to the weekend when Storm will need to produce something special to get his hopes of glory back on track.
Storm's steady day - which included three birdies and two bogeys - ended disastrously at the last when he double bogeyed the 463-yard par four.
The Rockliffe Hall touring pro had been in sensational form in his first round. After bogeying the fifth, Storm birdied seven of the last ten holes at the Oceanico Victoria Golf Club.
