A TEENAGER has appeared at court today (Friday, October 11) charged with assaulting his parents.
Matthew Dale, of South Street, Spennymoor, County Durham, denied two charges of assault and a further charge of criminal damage when he appeared before magistrates in Newton Aycliffe.
The 18-year-old is alleged to have assaulted his parents and destroyed a television remote control worth £18 on September 24.
Mr Dale will go on trial at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 27. He was granted conditional bail.
