FELONS will have to reckon with a new superhero thanks to an imaginative youngster.
Middleton Tyas Primary School's Michael Cullen won a poster competition after designing a cartoon character.
The 11-year-old's prize-winning creation was Egghead - an all- action crimefighter.
The idea won first prize in the North Yorkshire Criminal Justice Board competition, and will be brought to life in a comic strip by students at Harrogate College.
Headteacher John Ridley said: "The idea was to come up with a new character that would represent the elements of justice, such as fair play and anti-bullying.
"Michael was competing against entries from schools from across North Yorkshire, so he did really well to win."
